We are dedicated to providing your pet with genuinely healthy, tasty treats using only the best possible natural ingredients to ensure the maximum palatability, while giving your dog real health benefits.

We believe in traditional values and the old adage that ‘you only get out what you put in’, hence the reason we only use the best possible natural ingredients in our products and purchase from renewable sources which allows us to offer quality products that are excellent value for money.

We have a responsible attitude to the way our pet products are produced and encourage our customers to be responsible pet owners.

Campaign for Real Pet Food - we are founder members of this campaign which is aiming to promote the use of good quality ingredients in pet food and improve the pet food labelling so it is clear, honest and concise to allow pet owners to decide exactly what they are feeding their pet.- you can visit our site to find out a bit more at www.crpf.org.uk

We are also on the PETA list of Ethical Pet Food Companies as we do not test our products on animals, nor do we support or believe in animal testing.

We have recently passed the Ethical Audit which means that we are now accredited by the Ethical Company Organisation - please see Ethical & Environmental Policy below for more details.  Only the top 30% of any particular market sector can qualify so we are very proud of our award.

We support Nowzad Dogs - a charity set up by soldiers in Afghanistan to help rescue dogs in war zones including those used as fighting dogs. - visit their website at www.nowzaddogs.co.uk

We give away our treats to lots of small rescue centres who do not have the funds to launch big advertising campaigns to generate funds but who do an absolutely amazing job with nothing but a lot of hard work, energy, enthusiasm and compassion. Well done to you all!

Ethical Policy

 

We care passionately about our pets and yours and want them to live long, happy and healthy lives and we are dedicated to providing them with the best possible nutrition. To us, this means no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, no genetically modified ingredients and no meat or animal derivatives.

 

We are proud to be among the founder members of The Campaign for Real Pet Food which is working hard to promote the use of good quality ingredients in pet food and clear, honest labelling to allow the consumer to make an informed decision on the food they buy for their pets.

 

We are also on the PETA list of Ethical Pet Food Suppliers as we do not test our products or our ingredients on animals, nor do we condone animal testing in any way.  All our products are taste tested by our own pets and any of their willing furry friends.

 

We are delighted that we have also been awarded the Ethical Accreditation :-

 

“The Ethical Company Organisation runs the Ethical Accreditation Scheme.  This certifies that the Company or Brand in question has scored highly in an overall analysis of its Corporate Social Responsibility record.

The application process takes 6 weeks and involves our research teams analysing each applicant company’s record on up to 15 specific criteria under the 3 general headings of Environment, Animals and People.  We search for criticisms within several thousand documents from NGO’S, Campaign Groups and Court Reports.  Ethical Accreditation screening includes the applicant company and its ultimate holding company.  The research is  repeated every 12 months to ensure that our Ethical Accreditation awards remain up to date.

Successful Ethical Accreditation earns an Ethical Award for those applicant Companies that score highly (top 33%) overall compared to the other Companies in their sector”

Environmental Policy

Feelwell’s are a small, family business based in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside and we are committed to doing all we can to preserve our environment.

 Our offices are based in our home, so no travelling to work means no carbon emissions.

 We use energy saving light bulbs throughout our home, we have the maximum amount of insulation in our loft and we recycle everything that we can.  We also use recycled paper and stationery wherever possible.

Our products are shipped direct to our customers on our behalf to ensure the minimum transport miles on our finished goods.  Some of our packaging is already manufactured from recycled materials and we are actively sourcing environmentally friendly alternatives for the rest.

As we have our products manufactured for us, these companies are also buying in raw materials for lots of other companies at the same time thereby utilising economies of scale and requiring less transport overall and wherever possible all products are sourced in the UK.  Some of the products are actually grown on the site.

We don’t employ a sales force out on the road – we communicate with all our customers via telephone and email and we also sell our products via wholesalers, once again reducing our impact on carbon emissions.

All our post is sent from our local village post office which means we can walk there and back – taking the dog for a walk at the same time!

 

Refund Policy 

You have the right to cancel your order within seven days from date of order.

You may also return your order - unopened - with 7 days from receipt of order.

If you do wish to cancel your order, please contact us by email info@feelwells.co.uk quoting your order no and we will organise a refund

If you wish to cancel your order after you have recieved the goods you must do so within 7 days of receipt.  Please contact us by email info@feelwells.co.uk quoting the order no and return the goods to the address below.  We will refund the cost of the order but the goods are to be returned at your own cost.

If the goods you receive are faulty in any way we will refund you or replace the goods - whichever you prefer.  Please contact us by email info@feelwells.co.uk quoting your order no and we will advise accordingly.  We will refund the postage cost of any faulty goods returned to us.
